LOUISIANA STATE PUBLIC BENEFIT FUNDS FOR ENERGY EFFICIENCY

In 2002, a Public Benefit Fund Coalition, made up of 11 low-income organizations, government agencies and national experts, including Entergy, gained a legislative appropriation of $1 million in state funds for weatherization and the transfer of $3 million in federal Temporary Aid to Needy Families funds for the same purpose.
