• In 2003, Progress Energy's (formerly Florida Power) Energy Neighbor Fund received $288,480 in customer and corporate donations.

• Florida Power & Light Company's 'Care to Share' program began in 1994. FPL collects donations which are administered by nonprofit organizations. In 2003, customer and corporate contributions totaled $538,497.

• In 2003, Tampa Electric Company customer and corporate donations totaled $113,614.
