Idaho State and Local Funds

• On March 24, 2006, Governor Dirk Kempthorne signed an appropriations bill that included $3.75 million for low-income energy assistance. The funds were used to provide a 2nd benefit to households who applied for LIHEAP assistance during the 2005-2006 program year. The additional one-time benefit was distributed following the close of the season on March 31, 2006.
