Missouri Ratepayer Funded Energy Efficiency

• The Laclede Gas Company increased funding for its Low-Income Weatherization Program to $950,000 annually effective August 1, 2007. The program will be administered by the Department of Natural Resources and will provide energy education and weatherization assistance to low-income customers.
  
  
• Kansas City Power & Light contributed $350,000 for weatherization in 2005, that amount will increase by $50,000 each year through 2010.
