$1.1 Million Will Aid Indiana Vectren CustomersVectren Energy Delivery will contribute more than $1.1 million in heating assistance aid in Indiana through its Share the Warmth program and additional contributions. From February 2 through May 31, LIHEAP-eligible Vectren customers who have been disconnected or have a past due account balance and fall within 125 percent of federal poverty guidelines may receive one payment of up to $300 to be applied to a past due balance. he source of the funding includes $610,000 that results from an agreement approved in July 2002 by the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission, which resolved issues related to ProLiance Energy, LLC, including provisions for sharing customer benefits. The Vectren Share the Warmth program has contributed $500,000, which will be available to the Vectren service area and its Indiana customers. In addition, Vectren will match dollar-for-dollar any customer donations up to a total of $200,000. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. All funds will be distributed through local community action agencies throughout the Vectren service areas in Indiana.
