Iowa Provides $2.85 million for LIHEAP

Just before it adjourned, the Iowa Legislature on May 3 appropriated $2,850,000 from the state general fund to be used as supplemental funding for LIHEAP, and Iowa’s Governor Thomas Vilsack signed the measure. The funds will provide supplemental energy assistance payments this year.
